ANDROGYNOUS BOYS 1925 by ArtBoy62 ANDROGYNOUS BOYS 1925 by ArtBoy62
Nigel had been a lonely introverted boy until he met, Peter. They were the same age, had the same interests and most importantly, were on the same wave length. If one boy thought of something, the other would home in on it instinctively.

Nigel had been forced to attend some relative's formal wedding. His fastidious mother made him wear a particularly feminine frilly shirt and shorts combo. It was made of lustrous satin and when, Perter saw it after he'd returned from the wedding, he said casually...

"You look like a really pretty girl!"

Nigel knew his friend meant no harm by his comment. Giving offence was an alien concept to, Peter. He was as gentle as a lamb... that was why Nigel loved him so much.

Nigel was blushing when he said in a hushed whisper...

"Would you like to dress up like a girl too, Lucinda my twin sister has a whole wardrobe full of pretty clothes and she's the same size as you I'm sure."

Now both boys were blushing, partly from embarrassment, but mostly from keen excitement.

Later, when the two boys had been left on their own during the school holidays, they raided, Lucinda's wardrobe for suitable clothing...

The dresses and skirts could wait, what Peter loved was, Lucinda's adorable underwear. He separated her cotton school knickers and stockings from the lustrous silk and satin lingerie...

The exited boy could not wait to slip the flimsy things on and luxuriate in their sensual caress.

Moments later, Peter stood next to Nigel in a flimsy blouse, glossy bloomers and silk stockings... then, Peter proceeded to attatch a satin ribbon in Nigel's flowing locks...

"Who's the prettiest girl in Christendom?" asked, Nigel feeling strangely euphoric.

"Me! exclaimed Peter, giggling light heatedly in his girly underwear... I'm a real princess at long last..!"

Suddenly a dark thought entered, Peters head... He placed his hand over his lips and gasped...

"The bedroom door is locked I hope... I wouldn't want your sister bursting in on us unannounced!"

Nigel shrugged and said casually, "Lucinda is a very understanding twin, she has her own personal eccentricities, but I don't lecture her, or go sneaking to mum and dad...

Lucinda and I trust each other."

Peter's expression changed from anxious dread to carefree abandon in an instant. He said breathlessly...

"We must do this again..! When it's safe of course... We don't harm anybody, why should anybody object to a little harmless dress up fun?"

"Why indeed?" replied, Nigel wistfully... knowing full well that some people would object, in the strongest possible terms.... His father, the army general most of all.

In their imaginations, in their creative dress sense, in their general attitude to life...

Good lord... you're so literal!!

You can lead a person to the top of a mountain...

but you can't make him jump off it.

And yet, a very natural response within the human mind is to look over the edge of a high drop off and have two different, but equally powerful responses.  The fear of someone/something pushing you off, or WANTING to jump 8D

I'm much too scared of high places to ever look down...

Makes me go all funny just thinking about it.

Let's change the subject please. You're creeping me out...

and that's not easy to do.

I must confess I don't relate to modern pop culture at all these days. I tend to take my inspiration from the past, being an old guy in his mid 60s.

Is that you in the user photograph, she's stunningly beautiful. I adore beautiful girls. They're nature's supreme master work I believe... perfection in a word...

I don't have to make any Romeo style moves, I just admire them like master works in some National gallery of feminine appeal...

Were were we..? Oh yes, girly boys. There are certain elements of human behaviour that appeal to me... Spanking... domestic exclusively, I detest the excessive cruelty in S&M.

I also adore vintage clothing, just flick though my art and you'll see most of it is reenactments of 1920s and 1930s scenes...

I'm a 20th Century animal basically. The 21st Century has little interest for me. With the possible exemption of medical advancements and the amazing computerised wizardry that allows me to communicate with interesting people... from sea to shining sea as the song goes.

If you find links that you think I might like, do share them and I'll be your friend for life.

I like the seated boy with the sultry look, wearing sexy underpants...

I detest big hairy ape shots of boys... The closer they are to cute sexy girls the better I like them... Kinky I know!

I mentioned this to a gay man I used to work with once and he replied aggressively...

"Just grab yourself a cute girl then... idiot!"

Don't think Patrick was all that happy with his gay guy lot... poor sod... First rate artist though!

Even if you just look like your bio shot I'm impressed...

Cant say the same about your art though... As my old teachers used to say on my atrocious school reports...

"Could try harder."

Sorry if I sound brutal, but it's better than tip toeing around the subject and being patronising...

I'm nearly 66 and I've been drawing and painting since I was 5... As a professional illustrator I've seen thousands of wannabe artists flashing their folders and asking me if they're any good...

99% of them have no talent at all, and like 99% of the deluded singers and dancers one sees on lame if glitzy TV talent shows...

Nobody has had the balls to inform them that they're talentless... What's worse the deluded wannabes don't have the good taste to realise it themselves.

Love, Alan

Its always nice with honest people. I know my art arent that great, but im only 14 ;)And i know it sounds weird for a 14 y/o girl to say so, but i agree whit the boys. I think its beautiful yet mystical when a young beautiful man looks like a girl. Not just any girl, but a sweet innocent one :) Therefore those two boys are my biggest insperation.
Thanks for you answear

You sound like a well balanced, intelligent 14 year old who knows her own mind an is prepared to learn from your more experienced elders...

Boys who admire the gentle beauty and grace in fresh faced girls and elegant women are one of life's great pleasures. I've seen many images, retro and modern, with boys of all ages... who could be girls, were it not for the obvious difference.

Study ancient Greek and Roman art if you want to really develop your artistic taste... I call it humanistic art, that is, art that transends current art fashions and idiotic cults...

So called, conceptual art for instance... I detest piles of crap in whitewashed galleries, with labels to say it's not junk, it's art... Believe me, it's junk!

People who have no artistic taste accept it because they don't want to appear ill educated or without culture...

Most contemporary art is simply a huge commercial con.

Study the drawings of the great masters, Leonardo... Michelangelo... Raphael... Artists who worked for years in a master's studio before they were let loose on actual churches or civil commissions.

I'd say it's taken me a lifetime to sort real diamonds from sparkle paste... Artistically speaking. No artist ever became a master by conjuring up some inane concept and then getting real artists/craftsmen to fashion the finished item...

Phoney multi millionaire, so called, artists who've conned the art establishment and the general public for decades and bring our profession into disrepute.

I'm not saying who these art conmen are... Do a search and let me know who you think they are.

Love, Alan
